History in the marine industry
Our founder and director, David Imrie, had an established career in the ship building industry before forming Imrie Engineering. During his career, he developed his expertise in ship repair and recognised a need for a specialist commercial ship repair company and sought to fill the gap in the market.
We are long established in the marine industry and have continued for many years for a reason – our professional engineers are ready to assist.

Based in Newcastle, County Down, we operate throughout Northern Ireland, Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom.
